The hosts of Alaska Cottonwood Bed & Breakfast welcome you...
Julian Rivers, born and raised in Fairbanks, is a retired English/theater teacher. Ask him about history - he writes on Alaska's past. Joyce Hughes, originally from Ohio, has worked in rural Alaska as a social worker, teacher and counselor since 1964. She continues to write grants and administer health care services.
In 1998, they moved to Anchorage to spend more time with their daughter and grandchildren and enjoy the many opportunities to participate in art, music and theater events.
Their beautifully remodeled 1950's era home in mid-town Anchorage includes a large library of books, videos, records and CD's. They look forward to sharing their home and experiences with you.
We are planning to sell in 2017/2018 as we are ready to downsize - if you are interested please contact us for more information. This property is a wonderful home with or without a bed and breakfast business.
